Good Evening, Everyone....

First, I would like to thank all of you for coming out on a night like this. Your support thus far has been overwhelming, and I am honored to be on this journey with each of you.

The goals that I have set forth for Wilkes-Barre sound simple in theory, but they cannot be achieved without involvement from our entire community. As a student at Wilkes University, I know the importance of including both blue collar workers and white collar workers in our city. I will work with other council members to make Wilkes-Barre a city where college-educated individuals want to stay and invest in our neighborhoods. Our neighborhoods have been hit with an influx of crime, and we need to focus on ridding the area of these criminals. To do this, we will focus on the positive. A sense of community must be brought back to restore the faith that residents have lost. I will always vote in the best interest of our residents to ensure that Wilkes-Barre is a safe, culturally flourishing and economically prospering city that each of us is proud to call home.

As councilwoman, I will do my part to make local government a more interactive experience. I will reinstate the Junior City Council, which encouraged young people, including myself, to become involved with politics and their city. I am going to be a councilwoman residents can depend on. I will hold monthly town hall meetings for all Heights, Mayflower, and Downtown District C residents. When residents contact me, they will always receive a timely, personal response. Overall, I want the community to know that their voices will be heard and that we will work together.

With that being said, I hope I will continue to have all of your support as we continue this journey to a better Wilkes-Barre.

                                                            Thank You
